He has most recently completed a training course held by Le Cordon Bleu Program Culinary Institute of Arts in California. He has worked at the Hilton Atlanta Hotel Downtown, a five-star hotel in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, the Princess Lines cruise liners, and the Legacy group's flagship Michelangelo Towers Hotel in Sandton, Johannesburg. Chef Garoeb's talents lie not only in his gastronomic expertise - he also speaks five languages (he is fluent in English and Tswana, and speaks Zulu, Spanish and Italian on a moderate level).
